KeyCast FAQ: everything asked before ordering

Twelve questions the support desk actually receives, answered in full. If yours is not here, the contact page reaches a human on WhatsApp in under five minutes during working hours.

Frequently asked questions

You receive a private KeyCast line — a username, password and server host — together with your IBO Player activation and a short, device-specific set of instructions. Nothing physical ships and there is no installer visit. Credentials arrive on WhatsApp, normally inside fifteen minutes of payment clearing, and an agent confirms on WhatsApp at the same time.

Almost certainly. KeyCast runs through IBO Player, which is available on Android TV and Android boxes, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS smart televisions, Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, and MAG and STB-emulator hardware. If you tell us your device on the order form we pre-check compatibility before activating your line.

Install IBO Player from your device’s store (or via the Downloader code on Fire TV), note the MAC and device key it displays, send those to us, and we bind your playlist to the device from our side. You then reopen the app and the full grid is there. The complete walkthrough, with the exact screens for each platform, is on our setup guide page.

The clock starts the moment your activation credentials are issued, not when you paid. If you order a three-month plan at 11:55 pm on 17 February and the credentials are issued at 12:10 am on 18 February, your line runs from 12:10 am on 18 February for the following three months.

No. KeyCast does not hold a card on file and nothing renews by itself. Roughly five days before your line expires we send an email reminder; if you want to continue you place a new order, and if you do not, the line simply ends on its date.

One device per subscription. The limit is deliberate — refusing to oversell concurrent streams is the main reason the picture holds during a Saturday-night game. Households that need a second screen order a second line, and resellers price multiple lines through our reseller programme.

None. KeyCast is built, tested and supported exclusively on IBO Player. Standardising on a single player is what lets our support desk diagnose a problem in minutes instead of asking you which of six apps you are running.

Channels are published in SD, HD, Full HD and 4K UHD depending on the source, with HEVC variants for devices whose decoder prefers the lighter codec. Most major networks carry an FHD or UHD feed. A 25 Mbps connection comfortably handles 4K; 10 Mbps is enough for Full HD.

Nine times out of ten the category is under a short maintenance window while sources are refreshed, and it clears within the hour. Before contacting us, try the HD, UHD, 720p or HEVC variant of the same channel — codecs behave differently per device. If it persists beyond three hours, message support and we will move your line to an alternate host.

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Discover and JCB are accepted through an encrypted checkout, along with Interac e-transfer and major cryptocurrencies. Activated subscriptions are treated as final sales; verified outages beyond 72 consecutive hours and duplicate charges are the documented exceptions. This is exactly why we push the CA$10.99 intro month rather than a twelve-month commitment on day one.

Yes, and they are a first-class part of the grid rather than an afterthought. Radio-Canada, TVA, Noovo, RDS, LCN, TV5 Québec Canada and the Canal+ and beIN francophone slate are all included, alongside French audio tracks on the on-demand titles that carry them.

Yes. The reseller programme runs on a credit-based panel with your own host URL, instant line creation, and zero commission taken on what you charge your customers. You set your own retail prices and keep the entire margin.
